Three industrial accidents occurred in a single day across the country during the lockdown.

At least 11 people have died in a toxic gas incident at the LG Polymers plant in  Visakha gas leakage .

Eleven workers have been hospitalized after a hazardous gas leak at a paper plant in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh.

Recently there was a huge accident at the renowned Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) plant in Tamil Nadu.

Seven people were seriously injured when a boiler exploded at a thermal power station. Smoke erupted from the plant.

Officials who transported the victims to hospitals said that the boiler could explode due to the short circuit causing excessive heat.

The NLC thermal plant exploded, causing people to panic as thick smoke filled the area.

Relief and rescue teams from the company arrived at the scene shortly after the boiler exploded. Company and government officials are trying to bring the situation under control. Doctors said all three of the injured were in serious condition.
